About Glutepedia

Gluten-free flour and ingredient guides, plus restaurant and shop listings researched one at a time.

Our Mission

Living gluten-free can be isolating. Finding a restaurant you can trust, or a shop that stocks the ingredients you need, takes real effort. Glutepedia exists to make that easier — one well-researched listing at a time.

How We Build Our Listings

Every listing on Glutepedia was researched and added by hand, one at a time, from publicly available information. No automated process publishes listings here, and coverage is currently limited to New York.

That is worth stating precisely, because it is not the same as certification. We have not spoken to every kitchen, and a restaurant that describes itself as gluten-free may still share fryers, ovens, or prep surfaces. Treat a listing as a place worth asking about rather than as a final answer — and when you arrive, ask.

The Flour Encyclopedia

Understanding gluten-free flours is key to safe baking. Our Flour Pedia covers each flour's nutrition, baking behavior, substitution ratios, and — critically — cross-contamination risks. We write conservatively: if we're unsure about a statistic, we leave it out.

Found an Error?

Restaurant info changes. If you find an error on any listing, please use the “Report an error” button on the listing page. We review all reports promptly.
